Knock Aergrind Coffee Grinder

5 years on from the release of our class-leading compact coffee grinder, we’re introducing a new and improved Aergrind for 2022. 100% plastic free and hand built in Scotland, the new Aergrind has been upgraded to be stronger, longer lasting and more refined that its predecessor.

Key technical upgrades begin where it matters – 38mm titanium nitrided conical burrs for competition level grind consistency and a step up in burr class. Inside the grinder, we’ve increased the axle bearing length by 100% to provide even greater stability and improved alignment. The refreshed profile of the crank arm is now 20% thicker at 3mm.

The design refinements continue with a move away from plastic to a larger, walnut wood knob; a snap-on magnetic lid with laser etched precision aluminium dial; and a custom threaded “screw on” lower tube, profiled to provide a controlled pour for your precious coffee grounds. 

But most importantly some things have not changed – the Aergrind is still designed to partner perfectly with the Aeropress, packing into the body of the brewer, with a crank arm and band that fit compactly around the body for the ultimate portable brew kits.

Italmill still powers the grind and it remains a supremely capable turkish and espresso tool thanks to the unique profile of these time-proven classic burrs.

Unlike other manual grinders where the grind adjustment is on the burrs, the Aergrind has a dial at the top of the grinder. This makes changing the grind easy and clean as your fingers don’t get covered in coffee.

Instead of using pre-set clicks, the grind adjustment is stepless which means that you have unlimited options on where to set your grind, giving you the best chance to maximise the flavour of your coffee.
