The most popular Cafelat tamper is the Pillar, it is a barista favourite all over the world thanks to it’s unique design and soft comfortable handle made from durable food grade silicone. The materials and manufacturing techniques used, build upon the old Bumper tamper that was introduced in 2005 that became so popular in many countries.
The distinctive ribbed pattern makes it very easy to grip, espescially on that important final polish of the coffee grinds. Again we have looked very closely at the design and made sure that it fits the hand very well, unlike the more traditional door knob shaped handles.
The tamper seat is included as part of the set, and made from food grade silicone.
The base is made from 304 stainless steel and features a silky smooth brushed finish.
